A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I’m Georgina, and I founded Antique Rose in Wokingham in 2010.

At the time, I felt the high street was missing something — a shop with a bit more personality, somewhere you could browse, discover something lovely and have a friendly chat along the way. So Antique Rose was born.

It started with interiors, gifts and those little things I couldn’t resist bringing home myself. Over the years, it evolved, grew and changed with me. But one thing never really went away… my love of fashion.

I’ve always loved putting outfits together, playing with colour (pink, red and coral will always catch my eye!) and finding pieces that make you feel good. Eventually, in 2021, I couldn’t escape my love of fashion any more — and the Antique Rose fashion boutique was born.

SO, WHAT IS ANTIQUE ROSE TODAY?

For me, it’s all about trends you can actually wear.

I’m not interested in fashion for fashion’s sake. I look for pieces that feel current but are easy to wear, flattering and work for real life. Clothes you’ll reach for again and again, accessories that add a little polish and shoes that can keep up with you.

Most importantly, I choose things I genuinely love and would wear myself.

I’m not here to tell you what you should wear. I’m here to help you find what works for you — whether that’s a new-season trend, a wardrobe staple or simply something that makes you feel great when you put it on.

MORE THAN JUST CLOTHES

After all these years, Antique Rose is still very personal to me.

It’s about discovering something you didn’t know you were looking for, finding an outfit that just works, having a chat, trying something a little different — and hopefully leaving feeling happier than when you walked in.

I also love sharing the everyday life of Antique Rose on Instagram — the new arrivals, outfits, styling ideas, behind-the-scenes moments, plenty of fun and all the little things that happen along the way. For me, it’s another way of being part of our community and keeping that friendly, personal connection going beyond the shop.

And if you’ve followed Antique Rose for a while, you’ll know fashion isn’t my only passion! Alongside Antique Rose, I also have Giftology and Maison Rustic — two other little corners of my world, born from my love of finding beautiful, thoughtful and slightly different things.
