Order Processing

Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this this the same day for all orders in to our shop Mon-Sat (excl Bank Holidays) but can take up to 3 days during busy periods.

Very Occasionally our stock levels will be incorrect or an item may be purchased in store before we can pick and pack it, in the event of this we will advise you of our mistake and refund the item. We will where possible offer an estimated delivery date if you would like to delay your order or place an order in the future.

Personalised items can take up to 3 weeks but you will be advised of an expected delivery date and kept updated

You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website.

Returns: Online & Mail Order Purchases

We hope that your purchase from Antique Rose reachs you in perfect condition and you are happy with your purchase. If you find it unsuitable or you're not entirely satisfied we will be happy to offer a full refund of the item (s) returned. This refund is subject to the following conditions:-

  • Written notification within 7 days of receipt, by email with your intention to return the product(s) including any defects or breakages.
  • Items are unused and undamaged and in their original packing and wrapping provided to avoid postal damage.
  • Items are received within 7 days of notification of return or if no notification within 7 days of receipt.

We cannot give refunds in the following cases:

  • personalised items unless faulty, miss-spelt or miss-represented
  • Items returned after 14 days.
  • Damaged items not notified by email to us within 7 days.
  • Goods returned are at your own expense.

However, if you forget we will be happy to issue a Gift Voucher redeemable in store or on line up to 28 days after purchase.

We recommend that you use Recorded Delivery or a Courier so that you have proof of despatch. Replacement or refund will not be made until the original item has been returned to us. Alternatively you can return your item in-store with paperwork. Items returned

  • Within 7 days for full refund
  • Within 28 days for an exchange or credit note

Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Pricing

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in-store. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our store is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in-store.

The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative or suggest that you (re-)visit our store.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either: contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

Product Information

We do our best to ensure that all items are shown in their correct colours and finish but due to the variations in wood colours for example it is inevitable that their will be some variation in finishes. Different monitors and screens also vary enormously, so if you have any queries regarding colour or finish on any of our products, please telephone us on 01189 798414 Monday to Saturday between 9.30am and 5.30pm

Delivery

We aim to deliver all mainland UK standard delivery Orders within three (3) - four (4) working days, providing You place Your Order before 3.00 p.m. Monday - Friday or the timescales set out below. However, sometimes during peak trading times or sale periods, deliveries may take longer.

ALL deliveries will be made between 7am and 7pm Monday-Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Delivery Costs will be provided at Check Out.

Our Minimum Charge is £2 and the maximum charge is £7.95 for items posted within the UK, providing the item can be sent Royal Mail*

Orders over £75* will not incur a delivery charge.

*This will exclude some very large items such as furniture& mirrors, delivery for such items will depend on location in the UK and be available on request.

Order after 3pm Monday - Friday and receive your delivery within 4 working days.

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver on a bank holiday; please bear this in mind when placing your order.

Any orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be delivered 4 working days later.

Whilst We will endeavour to deliver Products to You as soon as possible We shall not be liable for any failure to make delivery within our Standard Delivery time estimates stated above.

If you are in a rush please call the shop on 01189798414 and we will endeavour to get your items to you as quickly as possible. Extra charges may be incurred!

Click & Collect

Take the hassle out of shopping and save on the delivery charge by reserving and paying for your items online. We'll bag it all up for you and get it ready, all you have to do is show us your invoice or invoice number and we'll hand over your goods.

We do ask that you collect within 7 Days, we will then call or e-mail you to remind you and give you a further 7 days. At this stage (14 days) we will refund your payment, but we may have to charge a small admin fee. If you're not happy on collection we'll refund there and then or you have another 7 days for a full refund!

Lost Parcels

We will begin Our missing parcels procedure if your Order fails to arrive within 10 days of despatch and You notify Us in writing. We will investigate your claim and if We are satisfied that the non arrival of the Product(s) was attributable to Us then a refund will be credited to the credit/debit card which was used to place the Order. Please note that we may refuse to make future deliveries to addresses that are considered to be insecure. In this event you will be contacted by our service team and asked to provide an alternative delivery location for future orders.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you will be charged for both delivery and collection cost.

If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.

All quoted delivery prices are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30-37), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges and may also experience delivery delays; morning, Saturday and next working day deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges.

Deliveries to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland will take longer.

Security (SagePay)

We use the industry leading internet payment company SagePay to protect your card details and protect us from fraud. The following security systems are used.

Transaction security

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the SagePay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from SagePay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the SagePay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage

All sensitive data is secured on SagePay using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Links to banks

SagePay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

Employee access

No individuals within Antique Rose or SagePay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even form our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Security (PayPal)

We use the industry leading internet payment company PayPal to protect your card details and protect from fraud. PayPal keep your information safe. We will never actually see your bank or credit card details, they are passed in a highly secure way directly to PayPal for processing. Industry-leading fraud prevention is just one of the reasons PayPal is a safe way to pay online. PayPal uses proprietary technology and constantly innovates to monitor transactions and maintain a secure payment system. Law

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We are required by law to inform you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

Privacy

Antique Rose is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We do not pass your personal information on to third parties. All transactions that you initiate with Antique Rose on this web site are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists.

The Data Protection Act

Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a duty to protect any information we collect from you. It will not be disclosed to any other organisation unless you give explicit permission, or there is a legal obligation to do so. We collect information about you for two main reasons:

  • To process your online order.
  • To provide you with the most efficient possible service.

The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch and let you know of any offers, sales or promotions that Antique Rose are carrying out (if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters).

Right to request information
